Reading the Leaves: Every Leaf Tells a Story

  1. Tips and edges of the Leaves turning yellow – Over watering.
  2. Leaves drooping downwards –  The plant needs to be watered.
  3. Leaves growing very slowly  or not at all – The plant needs to be watered.
  4. Leaves turning yellow then dropping – Plant needs sunshine.
  5. Leaves turning yellow then dropping but branches healthy – Weather change, the new leaves should appear soon.
  6. The leaves turned yellow overnight – Wrong fertiliser or chemical was added to the soil.
  7. The tips of the leaves are dry and crumbly – Incorrect feed has been given to the plant.
  8. The leaves are cut – Some insect has been biting the leaves.
  9. Spots on the leaves – There is some fungal infection.
  10. Healthy plant but the leaves are curling – There may be some insect infection, black spots on the underside of the  leaf would be visible.
