Boil 1 Kg amla in 1 glass of water in a cooker. Stir once, strain and save the water for washing your hair.
Place amla in a pan with half Kg of sugar for 3 days. After this time remove the seeds and keep the pieces for a further 3 days. Strain, to separate the amla pieces from the the juice. This juice can be drunk. Add bhunajeera, kala namak and saunth powder to the amla pieces and place them in the sun for drying for 2-3 days. Once dried store them in an airtight glass jar.
Sprinkle with roasted sesame seeds before serving.
