Indraprastha Horticulture Society held its third very successful workshop in commemoration of its silver jubilee year. Held on the 20th of July 2022, the 25 participants learnt the art of creating landscapes in a terrarium.
Ms. Kavita Goel and Ms. Suumita Gupta instructed participants in 2 different and distinct styles of creating these wonderlands in glass. While Ms. Kavita Goel demonstrated how to create a rock garden with succulents, Ms. Suumita Gupta showed how the use of evergreen plants and sand layering could provide a very different look to the terrarium. The instructors also showed how the use of figurines and other such accessories serve to enhance these creations.
The Society provided all the materials necessary for creating these works of art. With these materials the happy and enthusiastic participants used their imaginations to create their own, one of a kind terrarium, to beautify their homes.
