Lotus

1. Grown from rhizomes or from Lotus seeds;
2. Requires 7 to 8 hours of direct sunlight;
3. Planting Time – February toJuly;
4. Soil – Garden Soil or ChikniMitti;
5. Top Layer – Sand, to keep the water clean;
6. Manure – Well rotten cow dung manure/ leaf mould;
7. Flowering – Depends on the variety – after 6 months to 1 and a half years;
8. Care – Clean 3/4^th water every 10 to 15 days;
